Decrypt given data previously encoded with des-cfb8 cipher algo. DES in CFB8 mode, encrypting 8 bits at a time using feedback from previous ciphertext blocks. CFB8 mode was designed to provide an efficient and secure encryption method for smaller data units using DES. DES-CFB8 is more secure than ECB but still relies on the insecure DES algorithm. Our decryption process assumes the IV string is prepended in the encoded string during the encryption process. You can not decrypt and get the correct results if the IV or passphrase mismatch occurs between encryption and decryption process.
