Encrypt given data using aes-128-cbc cipher algo. AES with 128-bit key in Cipher Block Chaining mode. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) was established by NIST in 2001, with CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) mode providing confidentiality by XORing each plaintext block with the previous ciphertext block. Considered secure, but vulnerable to padding oracle attacks if not implemented correctly. Our encryption process prepends the IV string used during the encryption process in the encrypted data so that it can be used during decryption.
